Specialty Classes

FLYBALL
Next Class Starts: November TBA
Cost:  $150/6 classes.  Limited to 6 Dogs
Prerequisite:  Very Crazy for Balls!
Get ready for this exciting sport. For all dogs that love balls, it’s pretty easy to learn. We work on shaping to the ball box, jumping hurdles, focus & drive, and owner awareness.  It’s a hoot and the ball dogs love it! We will soon have fun competition leagues!  Bitches in heat are not allowed.

INTRO TO NOSE WORK
Next Class Starts: November, TBA  2017 @ 9:00am  for 6 consecutive weeks
Cost:  $150/6 classes.  Limited to 5 dogs.  Prerequisite:  None - any dog can do this
This is the fastest growing dog sport in the world! Why? Because all dogs can do it using their natural hunting and scenting skills. It’s for puppies, adults, seniors, energetic dogs, reactive dogs, and it’s great for shy and fearful dogs. Nose work is done with one dog on course at a time, so there are no issues with other dogs. We are excited to bring this great activity and sport to town, so let us know if you are interested.  Bitches in heat are not allowed.

REACTIVE ROVERS
Next Class Starts:  October 16, 2017 - Mondays @ 6:30pm
Cost:  $175/ 6 classes.  Limited to 4 dogs    Click here for Seminar
This is a class just for rowdy dogs that have leash re-activity to other dogs. Dogs in this Leash-reactivity class are not aggressive to humans or other dogs, they just have some leash issues with lunging, barking and perhaps growling. This class will work to change your dog’s conditioned emotional response (CER) from dangerous to safe (bad/good) when it sees another dog. You will be able to safely walk your dog in the community with ease and confidence.  A bite history questionnaire and speaking to a trainer is required to determine eligibility.  Can't catch a class?  We can work with you privately or our Day Board & Train works really well for these dogs!

RELIABLE RECALL
Dates: Private call us at 719-539-4220 to Schedule
Cost:  $225 sessions (private)**   Click Here for SEMINAR
Really Reliable Recall! This class is for Handlers who desire to have 99% recall in OFF-LEASH situations. The focus of the class is for long distance recalls using unique & innovative call back techniques and rewards. A decent short-distance recall is a plus, but not mandatory; however overall good obedience and a good "STAY" are necessary.  A great class for folks who hike, bike, ski, etc. with their dogs and already have a well behaved and socialized dog.
**For some dogs, more sessions will be necessary.
